It is very wonderful that it is with a shoelace, because there is no hole for a shoelace on another camera and I worry all the time that I will lose the lid. You can also shoot videos. I was filming a children's matinee. All the parents for some reason refused the operator and I decided to shoot my brother myself. I edited the video in the film studio and everyone liked it. Good day! I bought a Nikon L820 camera about a year ago. All this time he has been serving me faithfully. I like to take beautiful photos, take them to print and make albums. I don't see any point in showing his appearance in the photo. Take a better look at its capabilities. I'll tell you a little about it: 16 MP, 30x zoom. It has the following shooting modes: macro, portrait, night portrait, landscape, sport, night landscape, sunset, dawn, pet portrait, museum, holiday,beach, snow, panorama and 3D. The video quality is good. The flash is very bright. If you are in pitch darkness with him, the flash will take pictures as if there is light around. Do you want to take a picture, and it's already dark? It doesn't matter! Open the flash and your portrait will be bright and colorful. With minimal photo processing skills and this device, you will be able to take great pictures!

Of course, he also has glitches. Nothing lasts forever, as they say, but I suspect it's because of the memory card, and the camera has nothing to do with it. It happens that he refuses to take pictures in the cold. It just doesn't turn on and that's it. Sometimes it just freezes a little. But, as I said, maybe the problem is in the map.

On New Year's Eve, my husband gave me a wonderful gift – a Nikon L820 camera. I must say that I had a small Nikon for 5 years before, but recently I clearly lacked it: it took bad pictures in low light, did not transmit small details. I quickly appreciated this design – with an automatic flash, you can forget to turn it off in the settings and cause inconvenience to the child, for example. And so, I easily take pictures without using a flash. The device has a powerful lens with a 30x zoom, which allows you to zoom in on the subject while staying in place. At the same time, the pictures are of excellent quality.

On the back of the case there is a 3-inch diagonal screen and settings buttons (menu, viewing captured frames, setting shooting modes, turning on video recording and favorite settings around the OK button).

With some differences, the way of working with the new camera turned out to be the same as with the previous one. That's why I mastered it instantly.

Story modes and auto mode

When shooting, you can only use auto mode (as a rule, I do that). At the same time, the camera chooses one of the subjects: portrait, landscape, night portrait, night landscape, macro, rear lighting, other subjects.

Sport. The camera continuously focuses on the area in the center of the frame. When the trigger button is fully pressed, up to 6 images are captured. I sometimes set this mode when I photograph a child (sometimes a cat) who is in constant motion.

Macro. The zoom is automatically moved to the nearest possible position. The camera focuses constantly on the area in the center of the frame (if necessary, focus is disabled).

I use this mode very often to shoot small objects, sometimes a cat. In macro photography, the camera conveys details very clearly.

Portrait of a pet. The camera recognizes the muzzle itself and takes a photo after focusing. The muzzle is recognized if it is in a certain position. An interesting mode, but I prefer to photograph the cat in other ways.

However, the camera does not have manual shutter speed/aperture/focus settings. Shooting takes place only in automatic modes, so it will not suit people engaged in professional photography.

Thus, it is ideal for home photo and video shooting, traveling. With a small price and ease of use, we get wonderful photos that preserve memorable moments.
