Greetings to all photography lovers! I just love taking pictures and creating amazing images. I recently purchased an amazing camera, the Samsung NX 1000. It has become my faithful companion and I can't get enough of its capabilities.
The quality of the photos is amazingly sharp and detailed, as the resolution is 20.3 megapixels. Video shooting is also excellent in Full HD. The camera is easily customizable for individual preferences. The sound during video recording is also on top. However, it should be noted that there are not many settings for video shooting, but it's not surprising, because the camera was created for photography. The only downside I noticed is that the focus is not the best. Sometimes you have to wait for it to adjust. But despite this, the photos turn out amazing. If you buy additional lenses, you can even take close-up pictures of insects. So if you're into photography, you should definitely try the Samsung NX 100!
Been using it for a week now and I love everything about it. Ordered another pancake yesterday, should be here soon. For those who are hesitant, I want to tell you that the camera is great. It's lightweight and comfortable and the ergonomics are top notch. At first I wanted to take the entry-level DSLR, but I held it in my hands, compared the weight and realized that it would be inconvenient to carry it around a lot. Compact cameras did not suit me with the quality of shooting. So a mirrorless camera was the perfect option for me. I looked at several models and chose the NX1000, and I have never regretted it.
The camera was bought as an additional camera for short trips and business trips, but now I use it all the time. One of the main advantages of this model is its compactness and lightness, which makes it convenient to take it anywhere: put it in your bag and go. The body is very sturdy and still has no scratches, even though I carry the camera in my bag with other things. I'm happy with the photos, which turn out as if on a professional camera. In my opinion, the price is well worth it considering the quality, functionality and usability.
Disadvantages:
Exposure bracketing is combined with shutter release delay in the menu, you have to choose between the two, which can be problematic at long shutter speeds of 1 second or more.
Problems with autofocus at dusk.
Using a smartphone as a remote control is conditional, as the camera only works in auto mode, and easy exposure adjustment is impossible.
Noise becomes noticeable at ISO 400.
Settings disappear, and the screen switches to viewfinder mode after setting and confirming the shooting parameter (you'll have to get used to it).Samsung RAW files are recognized by a small number of programs.
Rotation of the front lens 20-50 when focusing makes it difficult to use a polarizing filter.
Battery heats up after 5-7 minutes of use. Long recording of shots (about 7-10 seconds) after each shot, inability to change settings or view footage.

This camera was purchased in addition to an old SLR camera. For 5990 rubles you get a large APS-C sensor and a good lens that is slightly chromatic, but easily corrected with the in-house editor. After the firmware update it became possible to shoot with manual optics in manual and aperture priority modes, and the lens firmware update removes all distortions, allowing the camera to process images on its own.

Then I bought a 16 mm 2.4 lens, with which the camera is happy with a great picture.Before that I used the camera in the Samsung S6 Edge smartphone, which was very cool, but because of my love of shooting, I was often left without a connection. Then I bought an external battery, which prevented the smartphone from running out of power, although it sometimes caused inconvenience, because I often ride a bike.After Canon, photo processing is not always of high quality, and I am often dissatisfied with the results. But the photos from this camera are good.In the end, the camera is very good and allows you to take great photos and videos. If you understand its capabilities, there is no reason to worry. The picture quality is comparable to flagship smartphones, and perhaps even better, thanks to a larger matrix. And if you buy, for example, lenses 16 mm 2.4, 30 mm 2 or 85 mm 1.4, you can feel like an artist, and you don't have to buy original glass, you can choose, for example, Samyang or Sigma.
When choosing a camera, I had certain goals in mind. I am a furniture maker and I wanted to find a camera that would allow me to take high quality photos of products for my customers. I also wanted to use the camera for personal use, where professional skills are not so important. It is clear that a simple "soapbox" will not give good results, and a bulky DSLR is inconvenient for personal use. Besides, I have no ambitions to become a professional photographer. So I chose an intermediate option. And I must say that this camera successfully copes with the set tasks, despite some shortcomings.
An extra camera for parties and traveling. I have an extra Samsung NX1000 camera that I use for various events and traveling. It's lightweight and compact, so it's easy to take with me. The photos are of good quality and this camera is perfect for spontaneous shoots. I use the NX1000 to take beautiful photos to commemorate gatherings with friends and family. Because of its compact size, this camera doesn't take up much space in my backpack and I'm always ready to take a picture.The Samsung NX1000 is a great choice for those who want quality photos without having to carry around a heavy camera. Although it is inferior to DSLR cameras in terms of image quality, it is perfect for my needs. As a result, I have two cameras for different tasks.
Advantages: Small and lightweight, fits in the palm of your hand but not in your pocket. Easy to operate, has continuous shooting and bracketing. Lots of customizable settings, control from the lens is more convenient than from the button. Pleasant tactile response and build quality. Ergonomics at a high level, touch screen is not necessary with this arrangement of the control ring.
Disadvantages: recording a series of shots takes a long time, about 15 seconds, even on a flash drive with a class 10 speed. That's 8 shots in RAW format (35 MB) + JPG. So far, it has not yet been possible to achieve sharpness of the pictures in continuous shooting. A memory card of at least 32GB is recommended, one day of shooting will take 10GB. In very bright sunlight, the screen may go blind (but the maximum brightness of the screen was not used).
