With my favorite Nikkor AF-S 28-70mm f/2.8 D IF-ED (FX) looks very solid, as they say - "cannon". I agree it's not easy, Nikon D850 = 1005 g, (with battery) + 935 g. the "glass" weighs. And who is it easy for now? It suits me, if you put it on a tripod, it's even better, it shakes less in the wind, and there's less shaking in your hands, and it doesn't weigh anything in your backpack at all.

Two memory cards, one of which is a high-speed XQD. An inclined Touch Screen display, through which you can not only view images and navigate through the menu, but also take pictures. Just select the desired focus point, lightly click on the display, the camera sharpens the selected focus point and takes a picture.

I will not list the entire extensive arsenal of technical characteristics from the specification, you will easily find them yourself, finally my choice was influenced by the presence of such creative functions as time-lapse video shooting, interval shooting and focus shift shooting, HDR. I have been working as a photographer for many years and have carried many different cameras through my hands. I mainly worked on the Canon system, but when I got my hands on the Nikon D 850, I was very surprised and pleasantly surprised!

This camera turned out to be a real Monster, with a capital letter! It turned out to contain almost everything that a photographer, videographer, and of course anyone interested in photography needs! The impressions from the camera were the most extraordinary.

But, better in order, about the advantages of the camera:

And this is just a small list of what this photo Monster from Nikon is stuffed with. To be honest, I used to prefer working with Canon. But this camera surprised me very pleasantly.
I also shot sports events for them, and as a result, the percentage of misses was very small, autofocus worked out to a solid five. 153 autofocus points cling tenaciously to the target and hold it in the frame very confidently.

In general, it would just be a dream camera for a lot of people, but of course it has two main disadvantages:

The very heavy weight of the case, which even slightly exceeds 1kg. without a lens and an additional battery handle, which is very heavy for long-term use, carrying on hikes and just for gentle female handles.

And a fairly high cost of the camera, which not every connoisseur of the magical art of photography can afford.

Conclusion: If you have sufficient financial freedom and strong hands with your back, then this camera will be able to successfully cover most of your desires and creative ideas. You will also be able to get excellent results with professional reportage shooting.
