The Sony A7 III camera is a great device! Trouble-free, simple and still relevant, even in 2022!
The only disadvantage is that it does not support the 4k 60 frame format, but otherwise the gun is a race! The photo-video is of excellent quality, I use it with a Sony 24-70mm lens, the internal stabilization is good, the photosensitivity is also good, in general, for my money, in my opinion, has no competitors.
I have owned this camera for about six months. I have the camera itself for the Japanese market, so at the moment the menu in it is in English. For someone it will be a minus, but I'm already used to it. Russian Russian language support, of course, if we take it for the Russian market.
So about the camera itself (I will not specify the technical characteristics, since this information is full). I will immediately clarify that the review will be more from the video capabilities, since this camera is taken more for shooting videos, no matter how strange it sounds.
The camera was bought with a whale lens, the video and photo quality is decent, a wide dynamic range makes itself felt, if you use the S-LOG3 color profile in the sun, then the camera reveals itself to the fullest - you save a lot of details in light areas, with normal exposure in dark ones. In low-light conditions, the camera shoots decently, even with a whale lens, you can get a normal picture, but it's still better to use lighter lenses.
The disadvantage of the whale lens is low light transmittance, at 28mm the maximum aperture value is 3.5. Therefore, if you need more photosensitive lenses, buy only the carcass and separate lenses, but be prepared for the fact that sony has good lenses that are decently expensive.
The camera records excellent sound - at first I even used it without an external microphone and the quality was fine, the only thing that won't be recorded in the wind, since there is no wind protection.
The battery, compared to previous versions, lasts much longer in this camera, it is enough to shoot about 3-4 hours of video in 4K.
By the way, be prepared that there is a limit of 30 minutes of continuous video recording.
The camera has a folding screen, but it cannot be turned over to shoot "selfies".
Many people say that sony makes an inconvenient menu, but since I haven't used other cameras before, so I quickly got used to the menu, it seemed quite clear and convenient to me, despite the fact that everything is in English.
