I bought it back in 2011, I didn't buy it cheap, about 60,000 money, I had to take a Mark, I bought a body version, with the most ordinary flash drive and the most ordinary half-inch Crop camera 18mp. To begin with, I have been using canon since 2009. That year I couldn't choose which camera to take for a long time. In total, I bought a canon 50D on the advice of familiar professionals, and when I came to the courses, a friend bought a Canon EOS 7D. All the teachers at the courses, and I was at 3 different courses, praised the seven with one voice for the speed - a crop reportage camera. The shooting speed is just higher due to the small matrix. I am not an expert to dissemble, the 50D matrix is even smaller.

In short, it killed me for so long how everyone praises Canon EOS 7D that I managed to get a job as a photographer, shoot several weddings on my 50D and make friends with canon 40D, canon 5D and canon 5D mark ii at work. All the cameras were not new when I arrived in 2011. After 3 years, they wrote off the 40d and replaced it with a seven. There were only 2 sites where the canon Canon EOS 7D is still on sale...

And in the morning on the day of shooting, autofocus stopped working for me at first in any of the modes except automatic: M, aV, Tv, B, P. In creative modes, automatic autofocus worked. I spent the whole day with Canon EOS 5D. After shooting, I began to deal with Canon EOS 7D. During the day of inactivity, my autofocus settings got lost by themselves. Very deep, but I found them. This solved the autofocus problem. But it did not solve the main problem Canon EOS 7D does not remove. And it already begins to seem to me that our organization, with its savings and tenders, has bought the cheapest. And not new equipment. Now I already remember that the box from him was well, very much worn. And since canon encrypts data very strongly, I haven't found out about the shutter speed until now. I myself have shot at most 40 thousand frames in 2.5 years. The diagnosis is most likely a shutter.

But you understand, a really new device of this class cannot break down in 2.5 years or after 40 thousand frames.

On my 50D, I made more than 50 thousand, on the canon 5d mark ii, an incredible number of frames have been made since 2009. Canon 5D is generally terry! And they all work. After its predecessor, this device seemed heavy and cumbersome to me, but literally within a week, I forgot about it, now it is already like an extension of the hand.

I will not describe in detail its characteristics, since they are painted everywhere, I will only tell you about my impressions. The quality of the photos pleases. In use, it is convenient for me. It is easy to set up, focuses quickly, of course, a lot of work depends on the speed of your flash drive, the use of an external flash, etc. By the way, his USB flash drive is not the same as that of simpler canon (SD), but a CF memory card, which was a surprise at first.

Of all the representatives of this price category, the 7D turned out to be the best in terms of characteristics. That's why they bought it and never regretted it. Weddings, photo shoots, various events were filmed on it, well, for the soul, he never let me down. A canon efs 18-135 mm lens was bought into his kit, as a regular one, this pair even justified itself very much.

I have a Canon EOS 7D for exactly a year. Before that, it was 40D. I am happy with the camera. A lot of autofocus points, grasps everything on the fly, the top model among the cropped matrices.
