There is a small mirror on the front to see yourself.In general, this is a great thing for memorable photos. The disadvantages are, of course, the high cost of cartridges. But you can find cheaper options on AliExpress.

Buying this device was completely unexpected, although I had dreamed about it before, but never thought I would actually buy it. However, thanks to fortunate circumstances (or the effective work of marketers to present the product in the store), I quickly found myself at the checkout with this device. I bought it in the MVideo store in the Mega shopping center in Yekaterinburg.The camera itself looks simple but stylish. Different colors are available: green, black, gray, blue and pink. I chose pink to add to its cuteness. The device is small in size and quite compact. Although I didn't delve into the differences between the different models of the FUJIFILM Instax mini, I noticed that this model has an innovation - a mirror, which, however, doesn't really help you take selfies, as you can't see anything through the small mirror. The camera came with a cute lanyard.

In general, the principle of operation is intuitive, and there should be no difficulties.Conveniently, there is a window that displays the number of remaining cards. Now let's talk about them: when I bought the camera, it came with a set of discount cards with 20 of them. That is, there were two cartridges of 10 cards in one package at once, and the price for such a set was about 500 rubles. It is because of these cards Polaroid is not the most budget-friendly solution: without a discount, a set with one cartridge costs about 900 rubles, and a set with two cartridges - about 1400 rubles. If you want, you can look for cartridges on AliExpress or other platforms, perhaps they will be cheaper there, but I have not yet been interested, as I have already purchased several sets of cartridges at a discount. As for the quality of pictures, I am quite satisfied with it, because you should not expect from Polaroid pictures of the level of a professional camera. In a sense, Polaroid is an entertainment. By the way, the pictures appear finally within 3-5 minutes. To summarize, I will say that the Fujifilm Instax Mini 9 instant camera is good enough, it will be a great gift for a person who is fond of photography or a creative person. It arouses interest, and someone may be reminded of the times when on the beaches of the Krasnodar Territory took pictures with birds on Polaroid. Such a camera will definitely give you soulful pictures, and they will be very dear to your heart, because they are unique (and, by the way, very expensive, depending on the cost of cartridges).I do not recommend it to those who really want it, but the budget is limited, because after all, for such money you can buy a lot of useful things, and Polaroid is an entertainment and not the first necessity. However, it's worth thinking before you buy: fashions change quickly, and if you think you won't be able to afford such a treat, and it'll gather dust too... Hopefully you'll get someone who looks disgruntled, even without a picture in their wallet, and you'll quickly leave the electronics store.

I still have it, although the gift is several years old and I actively use the camera, but I try to keep it safe and put it away in the box after each use. The Instax mini 9 measures 11.6cm × 11.8cm × 6.8cm and weighs just 0.3kg. Carrying it around all day won't be a problem. The size of the photos themselves is 6.2 × 4.6 cm. I order my camera cartridges on AliExpress, which allows me to save a lot of money. If in a regular store you will pay 100 euros for 100 photos, on AliExpress you will pay only 60 euros. There are only two buttons on the camera: to open the lens and to shoot. You can also choose from five modes: indoor, cloudy, sunny, bright light and hi-key mode if the room is poorly lit. I'm into photography and own an inexpensive Canon 1100D DSLR, but an instant print camera is a different matter! Everyone knows those "Polaroid" photos, they have magic, warmth and sincerity. For me, this is not a serious disadvantage, as even blurred or over-lit photos retain a moment that cannot be corrected. I find a particular beauty in this. There are more advanced and more expensive Instax models with LCD displays that allow you to apply filters to photos, do double exposures, or select the photo that the camera will print. However, I believe this destroys the very idea of an instant print camera. With the same success you can buy a small photo printer and print photos from your phone (and it will cost less).Among the disadvantages we can note the high cost (50 rubles per photo) and the fragility of the cartridges, the impossibility of shooting at low temperatures. It is also impossible to turn off the flash. If you also appreciate the atmosphere and immediacy of photos, as I do, and you are not frightened by the high cost of cartridges, then I strongly recommend you to buy this wonderful device. I need it not for creating masterpieces, but for preserving my memories in a form that is so dear to my heart. I made a rule for myself to use one cartridge per month.
