The Canon Power Shot A620 is the best digital point-and-shoot camera. The camera was purchased in 2006 for $350 with packaging that said "for Germany" on it. It had a book in German, but it was not useful.
I use it to this day, the photo quality is good enough to print small pictures or watch on TV. The only problem is the limited size of flash cards up to 2Gb, if you put a big one, the camera does not see them. The most convenient thing about it is the monitor which unfolds.
