Great camera at an affordable price!The S1500 is still relevant as I bought this model after the S1000fd failed. The mechanical sensor stabilizer provides sharper pictures at long distances. The unit runs on AA rechargeable battery packs and batteries, allowing you to have a spare power source in case the battery runs out.
